What people can't understand is that cloning cannot reproduce exactly the same person in terms of emotion and mental reactions. It can reproduce the same person in appeareance the DNA is going to be the same but still it will not be the same person, that is impossible.
For sample the enviroment a person grows up, the relationship of a person with her mother and father, the situations that the person pass through her or his life time are uniques. Such situations are the base on which the mental and emotional body are going to be developed.
It is not possible to reproduce the same parents and the same situations, so there will be changes in the emotional and mental reactions of a human clone. Actually I remember a very interesting movie I saw where they made a clone of the main character that had a noble personality. His clone was raised in a very hard enviroment, and he was mistreated, resulting in a very dark and obscure personality.

Identical twins are the outcome of a natural reproductive process and
even astrology (sorry to mention it again on this list) regards them
to be two completely distinctive individuals as far as their
psychological make up is concerned.
If the Mahatmas exist and if it is true that they wrote (or dictated)
most of the Mahatma Letters, HPB was far from an ordinary human
being. There certainly could be problems in attempting to clone the
body of such an individual.
