At an exoteric level, the Borg and the SD Heirarchy would appear to be the same. But at an esoteric level, they are worlds apart. One takes from others, and makes of them (non Borgs)automaton's and slaves, while maintaining and expanding the sum total of the universal knowledge, they have stolen from others. Do the Borg share their knowledge with others in the Universe. Only the Borg benefit. It is a heirarchy of master/slave.
 
Unlike the Borg, the SD Heirarchy postulates all men as having choices and free will. We can choose to be a borg or not to be a borg. The Borgs are utilitarian in that they do what is best for the greatest good of all. (The Borgs that is). They assimilate others who are not willing to be assimilated. The Heirarchy of the SD is an evolution of mind and spirit from man to divinity.

The remainder of your message is a perfect description of what "The 
borg" is like! We have, as HPB said, free will because "demon est 
Deus inversus" and that "nature unaided fails." There is a Divine 
Plan, but we are not "linked together" like the Borg! Re-read what 
you wrote and then compare it to "The borg." Maybe HPB would be 
better for setting up our ("Secret")doctrine.
