I've always wondered . . . . .

why do we get such inane redundant TV news in the USA? There is a world, a veritable universe, of news going on all the time, and yet all we hear about is the Peterson Trial and a few other tidbits. What's going on in India, Malaysia, Africa, etc., etc.? We've got the laziest news reporters, and I might say the most biased, in the world! The news in South America, Europe, China, Japan, and the Middle-East is full of stories of things of interest and human need, but we get the Peterson trial, Peterson trial, Peterson trial, ad nauseum. The news is obviously being carefully controlled due to Bush's war, but surely there are people doing something besides occupying Iraq. What's happening in Syria, Jordan, Turkey. etc.? How's the crop of opium in Afghanistan these days? What dictators (besides the Saudis) are we collaborating with these days to get what we want before we turn them into anti-American terrorists (like Bin Laden was in Russia's Afghanistan war)? Our American news is inane, redudant, and BORING. Get with it MEDIA!
