RE: Liberation

Dear Jerry:

If our mind can conceive of such grand and universal ideas of spiritual
depth and wisdom, -- then such ideas show It (our Mind in its highest
aspect as Buddhi-Manas) is not bound to material things.

If the "mind" is free -- because as I see it, it is united to the Absolute
ONE SELF OF ALL -- the nameless and indefinable "ABSOLUTENESS."

I have never had anything but respect for the Buddha's 4 Noble Truths.

Now what do they mean and imply?

I ask myself: How can that which is eternal and immortal liberate itself
from time and space? I agree that our present samples of life and living in
this limited sphere of "time and space" can be exchanged for something
grander and nobler. But we never are able t totally escape our liaison with
other beings or with the ONE SPIRIT -- the ABSOLUTE, for instance.

That is what interests me -- the practical side, not just the phrasing.

If we continue to agree to reside in a limited environment it does not mean
we are ignorant of the universal and the true.

OK ?

Dallas

At this moment Dallas, you and I and 99.99% of the human life-wave are not
liberated. You and I and every one else suffer daily. Why? Because we are
bound by our own karma and we are limited by our own worldview, and we are
restricted by our own belief-system.

Buddha taught the Four Nobel Truths and all Buddhist schools agree with
them:
1. Suffering is inherent in conditional existence
2. Suffering is caused by karma
3. We can be liberated/released from karma
4. Liberation is the result of a Path
