Apparently, a medium in Brazil earlier this year did receive a 
message purporting to come from HPB. It said:

"This is all flapdoodle, dude!"


(Sorry, I couldn't resist. Writing from free wireless Internet at 
Singapore airport on my way to Sri Lanka.I am due to visit the 
Wijayananda Buddhist temple in Galle, where HPB and HSO observed 
Panchasila in 1881 and became Buddhists. More later)
