I am glad you are sharing your experience and the facts which would be of 
much value to any other writer who may have to deal with the organization 
in the future.

Also these and other facts would be of much interest for the future as 
collectively they gives one an idea of the "personality" of the 
organization - each organization does have its unique personality - which 
in many cases may stand in high contrast and possibly in conflict with what 
they stand for. Again we have to thank Internet for dissemination of 
information such as what you have provided gets disseminated; (in the past 
control of dissemination of information was skillfully exercised by all 
organizations and thus kept the followers in the dark about things that the 
leadership felt not good for the organization's or its leaders best 
interests). In the pre-Internet era it is almost impossible to disseminate 
info as is now possible with Internet and unmoderated maillist such as this.
