Re: On Consultation and Resolution

Dear Friends:

This seems to be useful:

Why "fight" at all? Is it necessary?

When opinions clash we have divergence. when people meet to resolve
differences we have consultation -- is not tolerance and amity superior?

But where does contention arise?

Is it not from the desire to impose ones opinions on another?

Note it is a desire. This is inferior to pure thought -- the Mind, which is
impartial.

But why is imposition necessary ? What I achieved by that? Is it only the
securing of a temporary advantage? Is it not a kind of tyranny? Where is
generosity, and charity?

Does the truth emerge or is it overlaid again?

Is not TRUTH an impersonal statement of things?

Does not tolerance include differences well as reconciliation?

Finally, everything has a motive. what are the basic motives in any action?
to help or to vanquish? For how long is a victory under those circumstances
secured?

What happens to the energy spent? What kind of Karma is the result?

Who in the final analysis has to bear it?

Best wishes,

Dallas
