Daniel:
And why is it a "current example"
of the "degenerated, low spiritual and intellectual
condition of the Theosophical Movement"?
To give you one more example:
In the recent ed. of GdeP's "Occult Glossary"
http://www.theosociety.org/pasadena/ocglos/og-a.htm David Reigle corrects
some Sanskrit spellings of the author, for example Reigle prefers Aupapaduak
instead of GdeP's anupapadaka. Also I am no Sanskrit scholar I don't think
that Anupapadaka is wrong, because Anu is a very well known prefix
http://rgrace.org/100/110anu.html.
Furthermore I personally regard Old High German as one key to Theosophy and
in OHG anu means "without" and makes much sense. So I doubt that David
Reigle's changes to Purucker's text are really an improvement.
Another example of perhaps vital and most important interest is the
so-called Holocaust question. The Simon Wiesenthal Center, Gitta Sereny,
Fritjof Meyer and other leadings Jews are in attempt to destroy the
Holocaust story that millions of Jews were gassed in the Auschwitz
concentration camp, a story we hear that sixty years. What is the reason for
that? Is it a good sign or a bad sign?
Well informed circles say that there is a Plan B, the evacuation of the six
million Israel citizens to Germany. Some weeks ago a state treaty between
the Jews and Germany was signed.
In the past, from HPB's time onwards up to Katherine Tingley's warning in
1917 against the Balfour Declaration, her 1919 warnings against the
Versailles treaty (were the Jews at first time appeared on the diplomatic
scene as a nation against Germany, represented by an empty "disk of the
absent"), in 1926 against the stolen German colonies etc., leading
Theosophists had much to say against Zionism.
What say present day Theosophists to the recent Zionist actions? What will
be the result for the world when a new Jewish state is launched in Middle
Europe? And will Poland really agree when a big part of its western land
(the old East Germany) will cleared for New Israel? And what, then, with the
Messiah? Will he come to Germany, too? Or will it not be better to keep the
Holocaust story?
Or are those questions of no importance to Theosophists?
