To: Dallas - Original Sin

Obviously, I DO NOT believe in "original sin" at all. All I was
pointing out was that the general theological belief is that Adam and
Eve, in the myth, committed "original sin" by having sex, when it was
from "eating of the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and
evil" according to the exoteric scriptures. Not to worry. There is
no "original sin," and Atma-Vidya, or Gupta-Vidya, was in the myth,
even according to HPB, a gift of Lucifer, the "Light-Bringer" who
saved us from original ignorance. We must not lose our perspective
as Theosophists and believe that any reference to the myth of Genesis
is anything more than a myth. Please let me know if I have not
explained this successfully.

Fraternally Yours,
Andy
