Steve
Just for complement, their terminology and their points of view on the structure of the Man differ a lot from Theosophy, I am an inactive member and was willing to come back but I took the monographs , review some of Žem and I am insecure if it is possible to conciliate both wolds, Theosophy and Rosicrucianism of AMORC.
What is your view?

Their exercises do work, although you have to work with some of them
persistently to get results. I saw some really amazing things when I
was a member. It is desirable to join one of their lodges and visit
consistently since you will see and learn interesting things from
their members. Their entire correspondence course takes about 17
years to complete, although I think you get through the meat of it
when you complete the 12th degree.

One thing that should be said is that they are into specifically
psychic development. They admit their methods do not lead to
enlightenment for most people. If that is your goal you might want
to explore something like Zen.
