It is interesting to look at it the other way round. That we choose, but
the Mahatmas are co-workers with nature and work in line with Truth,
therefore in a sense they don't choose. I would have thought though, that
K.H. chose to get involved with Theosophy, but don't know it.
The aim of the Occultist is to become a benificent force in Nature. He
makes the choice to work to that, but when he becomes that, to what extent
does he choose?
I remember Krishnamurti saying something to the effect that when we are free
we have no choice. It kind of makes sense. As long as we have choice can
we be really free?
