At this point, I think it is a good idea for me to emphasize that the only point I was making is that the evidence that Einstein kept a copy of The Secret Doctrine on his desk is somewhat shaky. Note that I never said there was a single iota of evidence (such as a photograph of his desk) that he did NOT do so. Not being able to prove something to be true is not the same thing as proving it to be false.
