It might be wirthwhile to point out there is no historical reason to 
believe the two men ever met. They are connected in a satirical book 
by the Marquis de Luchet the name of which I forget. The text is in 
French (I was going to translate and possibly publish it once but 
never could find a copy, only quotes from it.) From what I have seen 
quoted the thing really is hilarious but not historical.
