Hi Chris
I gess lately we are all bombarded with tons of people sayng they are a reincarnation of somebody or some ancient master that...it´s hard to believe this can be true ...if there will be a day in which we´ll have a true Master reincarnated or materialized in this plane ...we will not believe.
We must first meditate and find the answer inside ourselves, I gess.

There is a rock song in Brazil that was written by Cazuza, a fantastic pop lyricist which barely says:
"My heroes died for overdose..My enemies are in power..."

You're hitting on some pretty serious stuff, Krishtar. I would hope one of the aims of theosophy and meditation is not only to study and someday view antediluvian history, the rounds and races- but to experience one's eternal nature- the buddhi/Christos/Holy Nam which harmonizes, and the Atma/Godhead/Father/Monad from which we issue as one-off personalities. When that happens, it doesn't matter if someone says they were Jesus or Buddha or Blavatsky- or any other holy hotstuff personality- they can go fly a kite for all that- it's worthless. And they're worthless too. Like the man says, that's fine, but what can you do for me today?
You can believe that some nitwit in a turban is Lord Maitreya and Leon was Moses and Nettymara was HPB- but what good are they doing anyone?
It's ego games, and we're all guilty of it. We have to get over who we are. And maybe the bigger the ego to overcome, the bigger service the person can ultimately offer.

The other serious issue is the nihilistic, depressive influences bombarding today's youth, ever since the 60's. This is not happenstance, it is imo, a concentrated effort by the Lefthand Path ones.
Because there are no heroes for the children except for narcissistic, mindless rockstars, and I believe it is far worse today than in the 60's-70's ( my era ;-) At least back then, there was a vision of peace and altruism, even if it was totally unrealistic. Some of those overdosed heroes actually dabbled in the works of HPB and AAB.

In any case, as you say, we must meditate and find the answer within, which then grows outward into our daily lives.....influencing our own children, neighbors, the world. So don't sell inner knowledge short, even if the exoteric world is in a big hurt.

regards-

Ali
