treated well by at least one reviewer.

All the non-Adyar Theosophists who weighed in praised it highly as I
recall. PLP distributed it for a time. You see, to them CWL is
fair game for criticism and investigation and they wouldn't dream of
launching personal attacks on Dr. Tillett for his work. Such
attacks come only from Adyar loyalists. Yet some of the same
Theosophists who admire his work and would presumably deplore the
way Adyar responded to it have been my most vehement attackers.
Questioning HPB's veracity makes one an enemy of Theosophy whereas
questioning CWL's makes one a defender thereof. Double standards
and strange bedfellows are nothing new, but in light of the fact
that Greg and I admire each other's books and have been mutually
supportive I find it interesting that we've been anathematized by
different sets of Theosophists without a lot of overlap.
