Theosophy and anti-Semitism

Mar 22, 2004 03:01 AM
by Pedro Oliveira

Consider me naive if you want, but I am appalled to
see on this list despicable manifestations of hateful
anti-Semitism by so-called students of Theosophy. If
there was one thing the Founders of the TS placed a
constant, unequivocal and passionate emphasis on was
the principle and ideal of Universal Brotherhood
without distinction. One of them even declared that
"Universal Brotherhood is the only secure foundation
for universal morality." Anti-Semitism and any other
form of discrimination based on religion, ethnicity,
creed, race, etc, is frontally against Theosophy's
paramount principle and ethical beacon.

Can anyone explain why anti-Semitic bigots are allowed
to remain on this list and repeatedly violate,
abusively and irresponsibly, the soul of Theosophy -
Universal Brotherhood without distinction?
