There is absolutely no grounds for such an accusation.
Sometimes the extreme certainty people express about matters of fact
goes along with an extreme willingness to insult and attack those
who present them with contrary information.
There is absolutely no family

of Radha Burnier who is only distantly related to George Arundale
and that through his wife.
Radha's father, N. Sri Ram, served as TS President from 1951-1971.
Radha has served since 1980. That alone accounts for 44 of the last
53 years. Add to this the Arundale presidency from 1933-45, during
all of which he was married to Radha's aunt Rukmini. That gives us
only 14 out of the last 71 years when the TS presidency was not held
by a member of the same extended clan. Moreover, Radha's aunt
Rukmini was her primary competition in her first election, so the
chance of the TS presidency going out of the family's hands was nil.
I hope such disinformation as that given below does not spread

helpful.

Disinformation is deliberately concocted to manipulate people
towards a conclusion. Not only is my information correct, it has
been stated more or less as an afterthought in response to a
question about the ACT. This information might not be helpful, but
it is true. If there is true information about TS governance that
is not helpful to the TS, it might still be helpful to inquirers.
Is it disinformation that another family member is now being groomed
for the succession? I heard this from an Adyar Theosophist who did
not name the supposed heir.
