Living on ether without groceries

Regarding physical immortality (PI) if anyone is interested the
frontispiece to Yang Jwing Ming's book, MUSCLE/TENDON CHANGING AND
MARROW/BRAIN WASHING CHI KUNG: THE SECRET OF YOUTH is a picture of a
Chinese Taoist master who was allegedly 250 years old at the time the
picture was taken. Unlike Babaji, this gent did not stop the aging
process, although he looked more like 70 than 250. The communists
lkke to kill Taoists so it is doubtful he is still with us. Years
ago I studied with a fellow who was the direct pupil of Master Lu,
who died at age 82, but whose master in China (another taoist)
claimed to be more than 200 years old. My teacher had a picture of
this guy, and he, too, did not stop the aging process, although he
did stick around a long time if his claims were true.

Master Hakuin claimed to have studied under a Taoist master in Japan
who was more than 800 years old (or more precisely who claimed to
have been that old.) Hakuin did not leave instructions for doing his
practice which were sufficient for anyone to repeat it, but he did
live to a very old age with perfect sight and hearing, with no grey
hair, and with the ability to meditate in an unheated room wearing
only a thin garment. That was in the 18th century, so there is no
way to interview him and evaluate these claims.

One of my teachers claimed that Babaji has instructed numerous people
in recent decades so as to make them physically immortal, but there
is no way to substantiate this claim. So it may be true or it may be
moonshine. Several individuals who CLAIM to be working under
Babaji's remote guidance are clearly aging in a normal manner, so
there is no evidence he shares his knowledge about PI. The people
who were allegedly taught PI actually went to India and met him
personally.

Incidentally, Bone Marrow Washing, like living on ether a la our
Australian friend, is dangerous. It is a powerful technique and how,
but dangerous. BMW does not, like "living on light," propose that
one stop eating. In fact, some herbal concoctions are used to
enhance one's internal energy.

So is PI possible? I dunno. You now know as much as I.

See you in a thousand years.
