Thank you for a refreshing and interesting comment. I will be 
meditating on that for some time.

As for the story of the prodigal son, if you read it carefully, it 
suggests the antinomian is more cherished by his deity than the goody 
two shoes. Reread the story with that thought in mind and you will 
see what I mean. There were numerous antinomian sects within the 
early church in the first century. Where the story originated I 
cannot say, but it has a strong Carpocration flavor to it and may 
have originated with those folks. Properly understood, the story 
would have half the peoplein the world who profess that religion 
fouling their underwear.

Anyway, I am curious about the name "Alden." That is a name seldom 
heard outside Rosicrucian circles. H. Spencer Lewis thought he was 
Alden in a previous lifetime and used Sar Alden as his nom 
esoterique. Are you pershance a Rosicrucian or descended from R+Cs?
