Ahh, but you did know. That is why you went there. I have enjoyed
this post as well. As you know I am/was a Satsangi and studied the
sound current. One of the best outside sources I've ever read on the
postures, yoga, meditation and sound was a little book "Yoga of
Light" it is without a doubt one of the best books on getting
meditation results I have ever read.
The sound is universal. The difference between the Sufis and the
Indian Mystics and the Catholics is that they (Easterns) own up to
the sound and its power--while the Catholics and the others have
pushed the sound under a rug and their hid their light under a
bushel.
Anyway, the Yoga of Light book helped to accelerate my progress on
the path of meditation to a high degree because it
revealed "secrets" of the path and of the sound current. It takes
one to know one, so they say and it also takes one who practices to
become an "insider" to know when another insider is giving away
secrets....So we know that this ancient document plays up the point
that these are NOT exclusive nor NEW teachings. I will try to post
excerpts from it as I think of it.
