No, I didn't have "mean spirit" in mind in 
terms of "general tone of this website", and 
I was generalizing about "people in general,"
and the reference to "most Theosophic 
contexts" was meant in broader terms not 
related to any particular list. And of 
course I was, and still am, rather confusedly 
scratching my head, like this:
