What makes you think I EVER thought that?

If I ask about something, it doesn't at the same time imply that I have the
same opinion as the one attached to the question.
The question was asked (as a friend) so that you might evolve.
I will assume that it is a language problem rather than intent, but the word "still" in that form implies a definite opinion on the part of the questioner that the activity or thoughts questioned previously existed. It is called a double bind, in that both a "yes" or "no" answer is a confession to the behavior in question. For example, if one asks, "Do you eat raw liver?", then the answer "yes" means you do, and the answer, "no" means you don't. But, if you phrase it, "Do you STILL eat raw liver?", then the answer "yes" means that you do, but the answer, "no" means that you do not currently do so, but did so at one time.

Hope this explains it,

Bart
