Unless I'm mistaken, HPB used the expression "exoteric version" to suggest that the various models of reality that we humans generally "have," in effect, are---by way of what might be referred to (by some ...) as "another way" of evaluating reality---in effect mayavic, tending to mislead people from non-dualistic reality or from what she called "Beneness." That is, the "generally have" in the preceding is meant in the sense of in keeping with human interpretive, "applicable," dependent/mayavic worlviews, hence the "quotes in contrast to" such as "non-dualistically have."

So I wonder if "Karma" might also be "more realistically" regarded (by some on these lists, eg ...) as being, in effect, "exoteric/versionary," "basically," and I wonder if some kind of interpretative/"karmic" tendency to, in effect, "exoterize" might lead, or tend to lead some students of Theosophy, eg, to think about whether there might be some relevant forms of interpretive allowance making (or "allowance making," in a sense, for that which cannot be "exoterized") that might be seen as leading toward some kind of somewhat transcendental insights, possibly, in some cases (as per student's of Theosophy, in particular, possibly ...) ... and so I wonder if that kind of "allowance making" might also give reason for some kind of "significant enough" pause (eg), at least, at times, in some cases, maybe (or how about "pause" in quotes or italics, maybe ... ) when thinking about such topics as Karma, Theosophy, the Esoteric Tradition, etc

Speculatively,
Mauri
