Statements about B.P. Wadia "in touch with the
Himalayan Masters"

While researching a topic in the Mahatma Letters
today, I accidently ran across this statement by Dion
Fortune:

"When Mr. Wadia, once a worker at Adyar, and later
founder [???] of the United Lodge of Theosophists, was
in England shortly after the War [1919 ???] , trying
to make a start with his scheme, he gathered together
a small group of people, of whom I was one, and put us
in touch with the Himalayan Masters. For what my
testimony is worth, I can vouch for the genuineness of
those contacts; I certainly got in touch with
something; but although it was not evil, it was to me
alien and unsympathetic, and it seemed to me that it
was hostile to my race, but that is another story. 
Anyway, the rapport soon came to an end so far as I
was concerned. Whether I was cast out, or walked out,
I cannot be certain, anyway, the parting was
simultaneous and by mutual consent."

I repeat the main point of Fortune's statment:

Wadia "gathered together a small group of people, of
whom I was one, and put us in touch with the Himalayan
Masters."

Before one completely dismisses the statement by
Fortune, one might also consider the above in relation
to what Dallas Tenbroeck writes in "B. P. Wadia - A
Life of Service to Mankind." See the three extracts
below:

In 1907 BPW mentioned sailing out 7 miles into the
harbor of Bombay to see Elephanta, the famed ancient
temple, said to be over 350,000 years old constructed
from the living rock of the island when Rama was then
the King of India. Ages ago, a gigantic stone statue
of the Trimurthi: Brahma-Vishnu-Shiva, had been carved
out of the rock of the island and around it a cavern
had been chiseled so that a space of about an acre
under stone formed the monument. It was for that
reason the Portuguese named it Elephanta, because of
the huge stone elephants that decorated the approaches
to the cave. At his death-bed he spoke of this cave to
several friends, saying that it was there that he had
a "vision," and held a dialog with the "Master" at the
"Brahma-Vishnu-Shiva Cave."

Later, in conversing with some friends, B. P. Wadia
mentioned that he had a vision in Adyar on November
21st 1918 of H.P. Blavatsky. He said that vision, and
the earlier one in 1907 of the Master ( at Elephanta )
had inspired and energized his whole life with the
certainty of Their reality and continued existence,
and the power and worth of Theosophy as a living and
practical philosophy of daily life.

August 20th 1958, early in the pre-dawn of Bangalore,
the intimate friends of Mr. Wadia were called to
assemble around him, He was dying . The time was 2.20
a.m. He knew that he was approaching death and desired
to speak to them of the future. 

He spoke of the changes that the cycles had brought to
him. He reviewed some past incidents in his life. His
first meeting with the Master in the
"Brahma-Vishnu-Siva Cave" in 1907; his vision of HPB
early during his stay in Adyar (November 18th 1918),
which two events he said had inspired his life.

I'm wondering if Dallas or some other person can throw
any further light on Fortune's statement.
