PS to "re 'exoteric/esoteric,' Dallas, Gerald and ..."

I'd like to offer a PS to that last post I
sent, yesterday ("re 'exoteric/esoteric,'
Dallas, Gerald and ..."). Rereading that
post this morning, trying to figure how it
might've been received out there, I had the
suspicion it might have had a somewhat
confusing effect, for some/many, in that, as
I tend to see it, if one's "understanding"
about such as HPB's reference to "soul of
things" tends to be ... well, not that we're
not all, or most of us, kind of stuck in
exoterics on this plane, but, still, I
suspect that what HPB might've had in mind
(ie, whether or not she originally used
quotes or modifiers on "soul of things") ...
so I suspect that what HPB might've had in
mind might've had to do with a kind of
"understanding" that might be seen, by some,
as somewhat transcendental/"esoteric/occult"
in a sense that might be seen, by some, as
"not-so-exoteric" in a sense ... (not that I
haven't been suspecting for some time that
my speculations haven't often enough been
confusing enough in the past, but, then, I
guess I figure that "Theosophy itself" (to
quote a learned contributor on one these
lists) has, in a sense, an "exoteric" and an
"esoteric" interpretive aspect (where the
quotes are intended to alert the reader to
what might be seen---by some?---as somewhat
varied interpretations, "senses," of those
two words) ... On the other hand (?), there
may be lots of people and student's of
Theosophy who may, (apparently?), find much
inspirational meaning and wisdom in the
outward, apparent, "exoteric"
interpretive aspects to be found in
Theosophical literature in general. And, of
course, my hat is off for HPB and her Masters
for their various efforts whether or not the
readers of those efforts interpret "dead
letters" "exoterically" or "esoterically,"
with or without quotes and modiers. And I'd
like to apologize for whatever misleading
impressions I might have created with my
speculative posts. As one might have noticed
(by now?) I seem to be sorely lacking in the
ability to applicably enough cater to the
various interpretive ("karmic") tendencies
out there. So what can I say. Sorry. ^:-/
That's my symbol for confused guy who
thought he might've had something "useful and
helpful" to say, but/"but" ... ^:-/ ...
Speculatively, apologetically, and with best
wishes,
Mauri
PS Did anybody here get email from a Suresh
Menon asking for support for a print magazine
called SPIRITUALITY AND PROSPERITY? I'm
wondering what that's all about.
