Hi,
Very contructive your comments, mr. Morten.( I gess it is male name , excuse-me if not )
Iīm gonna read them all then also "recomment" again later.
Once again, very pertinent all the quotations.
There are many controversies about his ( Satya S B )claimed Avatarhood, hismessage is very simple, and thatīs principally about love.
Bye for now

Hi Krishtar and all of you,

My views are only views.

1.
There are Avatars in the world - on one level or the other. But they are not
easy recognizible by most people - because most people are ignorant.

2.
I have read about Sai Baba in physical scriptures. Not all of it - because
there is so much writing about him.
By the way I have an excellent overview on Sai Baba's teaching. - I have to
say though, that I havn't followed that closely in on the situation the last
few years.

3.
I have a few notes to throw...on the Sai Baba issue.

The author Howard Murphet - a theosophist and a Sai Baba interested have
made some stuff about Sai Baba and compared Sai Baba with Theosophy.

Diana Baskin (daugther of RajaGopal) have made a book were Krisnamurti are
being touched upon - and that Krishnamurti had an unofficial meeting with
Sai Baba before he died.

There is an old Middle Eastern book related to the time of the writing of
the Quran which makes the prophecy, that the Imam Madhi (the next Islamic
Prophet) would be a small man with a hair like a crown.

4. The negative and positive side
The last few years Sathya Sai Baba from PuttaParthi have been accused of
being a fake trickster and even a sexist child-molester.
The last accusation or rumour have been a terrible blow to the Sai
Organisation because - more than one withness have thrown
their accausation - and because they were independent of each other. At
least a handfuld of highly influential Sai Organisation leaders have
resigned from the organisation following the development of this event. The
organisation have been presented by Sai Centres in more than 100 countries
last I looked at the numbers.

Never the less. Sai Baba's teachings in print in his own various
publications are not in any manner as far as I can read against the
teachings of Theosophy - but it doesn't litterally support Theosophy either.
Sai Baba has made a positive remark about Annie Besant and her work one time
in a lecture he gave some years back. But, then... he has made positive
remarks about many persons.

and NOR in any manner offical leader of) : http://www.sathyasai.org

Skeptic:

When all that is said.
I will share this one sentence - which you have my word on is true:
A certain number of leaders of the Sai Organisation and some longtime
devotees of Sai Baba are - today (or yeasterday) - aware of more than the
beginners use of Extra Sensory Perception.
(I say this as a former member of the Sai Organisation).

You might ask: Is it or he/she God or bad ?
Answer: You will have to decide your self.

I my self seek to do as Blavatsky said - "We cull the good we find in each".
So I cull the GOOD i find in all teachings.
I do not assume, that I know that Sai Baba is an Avatar.
I seek the facts - and follow (from time to time) different relevant
hypoteses about the universe and life.

Hi, Dears:

I am Krishtar, new to the group but not new to the Theosophy, which I have
studied since my last life.
I can see there is a lot of discussion here and that is good, as long as
respect is held..
A new question for the group:
Are there any Avatars in this world?
For example, Sai Baba claims to be one, but has anyone read any of his
proclaimed teachings?
It is said that he does materializations and healings.
Unfortunately no one has ever been there to make further research on him,
principally under controled conditions, which he denied to.
Nostradamus once predicted the appearance of the new prophet, and his
devotees say that he has filled the requirements, hm?
Materialization , excluded mediumship, in which one canīt control the
circumstances, is a work of a strong control on will power.
HPB did it many times, but to have a total control of will is only for those
who achieved total control of his mind, and it means a high personal
development.
Magic can also produce levitation but HPB advised not to use, because one
may loose himself in the phenomenical world and stop developing and also
because through magic we open doors to unknown forces and unknown forms of
intelligence that a beginner in occultism couldīnt know how to deal with.

Krishtar A.
