When someone gets a message from the mailing list, if he or she replies to
the message, the reply goes back to the list. (The line in the message
header that causes this is:
Reply-To: theos-talk@yahoogroups.com
This makes it easy to participate in a discussion on the list, since any of
us can simply reply to a message from the list. It also means, though, that
if we want to send a personal message to someone, a message not intended for
the entire list, that after composing the message, we cut-and-paste their
email address in the TO: line of out outgoing message.

I'm not sure what this is or what it means. Do people send individuals
e-mail
from theo-talk, or is this a spam?

Well, I must say that my introduction to this group has been singular to say
the least. I am getting more information, but am still puzzled? What was
Oraganon's real message and intent? I guess I'm not good with subtleties.
Thanks.

Oraganon could, perhaps, find last year's? archive and produce some of the
posts that involved some explanations and exchanges on his contributions?
