Seems you may be making a mystery of "hear-say." If true, get the other
side of the "story." Then decide.
I have asked members there, and the story I get from them is that
nobody ever gets thrown out.
Obviously, someone is lying. However, when I ask how speakers and
topics are chosen, I am told, "Join, and you'll find out."
That's not anonymous; that's evasive. In theory, I consider the various
Theosophical groups (those that go by some version of the 3 Objects) to
be complementary rather than in competition.
Now, if the group is like Masons, where secrecy is part of the ritual
involved, I wish that someone would just say so. Note that just because
it doesn't cost any money does not mean that one has no reason not to
join an organization.
