Since the Mahabarata legends spoke of great "flying machines" that used
"weapons of light" that could destroy entire cities, if such a war took place 5000
years ago, archeological remnants of such weapons and machines should be still
remaining. So, since they are not, perhaps the actual war of which Krishna
and Arjuna participated (that had more primitive weapons) may have simply been
a reflection of a much greater and much longer war that took place many
thousands of years before in Atlantis prior to the exodus of the archaic Mayan,
Egyptian and Brahman civilizations to far flung corners of the Earth. Even the
Mayans, report (in their calendar carvings) that they were around over 12,000
years ago... As, the Egyptians, appear to have been also around long prior to
the Krishna time war (really a very small war between a single family and their
cohorts) as described in the Bhagavad Gita -- which actually covers only a
very short and later period in the ancient Mahabarata legends. (Are there any
scholars here who thoroughly know the Mahabarata legends and can supply some
references that may confirm this possibility?) Incidentally, the Mayan legends
also appear to reflect the possibility of a much higher level of civilization
using flying machines that preceded their appearance on the South American
Continent. And, the legends of the Aztecs (also reflected in the Pueblo Indian
legends) seem to support a great migration that occurred long prior to the
Krishna-Arjuna war spoken of in the Bhagavad Gita. (We might refer here to the
works of Arguelles, Van Daniken, etc.)
