I go by the Mahatma letter (I am going by memory here, but, if you 
really insist, I can look it up) where, from the context, Sinnett was 
apparently upset that Anna Kingsford was a mite too Christian for his 
taste, was upset that she had won some election, and wanted the Mahatmas 
to reverse the election. The letter essentially suggested creating a 
separate group for those who wanted to follow just the Mahatmas.
