Bad question because parents are irrational, otherwise they wouldn't be 
parents. :)

Look how hard the poor, dumb Germans fought for their children to have the 
inalienable right to wear stupid looking uniforms and gas people.

Of course they still think they can rule the world. Some years ago I 
received a communication from some functionary in the German government demanding 
that I remove a section from my website. It seems they had some irrational 
objection to my advice on how to use micro psychokinesis to disrupt the operating 
systems of the computers that control nuclear reactors. I sent him a one word 
reply, "Nuts!"

I never heard a word from them again.
