Nothing was said about NAT. GEOG. MAG. in regard to the petrified
human figures in the Havasupai Canyon.



Of course it would be great if there were a reference.

I suggested the records of the University and the US Geological
Dept., as those are alone mentioned in the articles I referred
to.

Have you been able to check those?

No suggestion was made by those Academic bodies that they had
anything to do with Atlantis.

You asked about the photographs my father had.

My memory tells me that they were the outlines of human shapes
(not skeletons, but somewhat like the shapes seen in Herculaneum
and Pompeii (near Vesuvius) where the ashes and lava kept a
record of the human shape. It was a kind of mold, and there were
no skeletal remains. They were lying down and the sand-stone had
eroded around them so that they protruded from the wall of the
canyon on to a ledge some distance above the floor of the
Havasupai Canyon ( not the Joshua Tree Park at all, which is 340
miles West in the Mojave desert ).

If you look at a good atlas of the South-West section of the
GRAND CANYON, you will see the Havasupai Canyon is a branch that
runs North/South and empties into the Grand Canyon at its western
end, coming in from the North..

Thanks for all that, Dallas. And I suppose the
mainstream archeologists are saying they're all just so
many special weather balloons that, after crashing,
seem to have a curious habit of forming debris fields in
the shape of giant people ... ? Or something like that,
maybe?
