Mauri,
Thought I would add a little to the topic. Years ago, in the late 
1970's a
girl friend and I were browsing about in the Joshua Tree National 
Monument in
California. We were in the flats area maybe les than a 1000 feet off the 
paved road
just looking around at it all and the plant life and nature. Well, we 
were not close
together and as I slowly walked I noticed large Footprint in the exposed 
Sandstone
that was bare to the air in patches where I was. I called my girlfriend 
and she was 
amazed! We measure the length between the footprints and they were double 
what I
could manage with the most exagerated step I could manage without falling 
over!

Joshua Tree Monument is a very strange place and seems to have very 
unique and
special energy. Once inside tumbled fallen rocks I doscovered a perfect 
Egg shaped
oval hole in the vertical face of the wall, spreading carefully I was 
able to bridge the
gap and stuck my head into th Oval Egg shaped hole. I was taken aback to 
hear my 
heart beat magnified about a thousand times it seemed! I climbed into the 
natural
rock Egg and listened to every gurgle, heartbeat, the rushing blood in my 
veins and it
seemed like a hundred other sounds! This was in "Lost Horse Canyon." A 
couple 
years later we went back but could never find it again due to earth quakes 
having
tumbled loose rocks which obscured it.
