Lately I've been reading "H.P. Blavatsky, Tibet and Tulku" by
Geoffrey A. Barborka and tend to find it both interesting and
well written. Also a little book entitled "H.P. Blavatsky As I
Knew Her" by Alice Leighton Cleather deals with some of the key
players (such as Besant, Sinnet, Leadbeater) following
HPB's passing.
