Where are you pulling these tests from?
In the 1960's, in New York, there was a controversy about slaughtering
methods. So tests were performed to see how much pain was actually
involved in the methods. In the more common method of clubbing before
slaughtering, their was a spike. With the kosher method, there was no spike.
