Hi Mic,
I left this one for Dallas, but reading his reply I have something to
add.
One of the things that cause at least some of what we call
coincidence, is I think due to the fact that our thought is an active
power. For instance the wellknown example of: I am thinking of A, and
suddenly he calls. It is very simple: A thinks of you, the thought
triggers something in you, you think of A and then thought amplifying
thought: one of you calls the other. Both of you acting on a form of
(unconscious) clairvoyance.
Another example is meeting somebody on a train that is active in an
area you are only just starting to explore. The subject is in your
mind, probably more than you realise and the force of that curiosity,
will, etc. needs to find an outlet. Not finding it in the wellknown
channels of usual relationships, it finds an outlet where there is
little resistance. In short: in letting you sit down right next to
that one person on the train that is involved in that subject. Call
it elementals, or something, whatever the precise vehicle from an
occult point of view: the basic fact is that the mind has more
potential than we usually give it credit for. So what lives in our
mind, will find expression in some way. Whether through so called
coincidence, or walking into a store you usually pass by, and meeting
an old friend there ... I suppose you could also call it the law of
affinity. (think I heard that one somewhere...)
