Jerry,
Bhakti Ananda Goswami on Theos-Talk has written an interesting posting
titled "MAHA VISHNU, GARBODAKSAYI VISHNU AND BRAHMA." See:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/theos-talk/message/10183
He is highly critical of Theosophy. For example, he writes as follows:
"THE THEOSOPHICAL SYSTEM DOES NOT SEEM TO CONCERN ITSELF WITH THE
TRANSCENDENT REALM AND GODHEAD, OR THE EXISTANCE OF OTHER UNIVERSES
OUTSIDE OF OUR OWN. IT SEEMS TO TAKE THE DAYS AND NIGHTS OF BRAHMA AS
AN ULTIMATE AND ENDLESS CYCLE. THIS IS BASICALLY THE JAIN. THERAVADIN
BUDDHIST, AND ADVAITI VIEW, THAT ENDLESS CYCLING IN THIS UNIVERSE IS
ALL THAT THERE IS. . . . "
Your comments on the whole post will no doubt be appreciated by many
subscribers both to Theos-L and Theos-Talk.
