Wry: Hi. Leon and everyone. (Bart, I will be back when I get a chance, to
answer your question, which I most appreciate). Has it ever occurred to
anyone that the material below is meant to be taken allegorically, not
figuratively. There is much to be gleaned from it, as, if each of us applies
it to himself, as a living organism connected to a greater universe (re as
above, so below), this may bring us closer, in our daily functioning, to a
more exact correspondence with the absolute. So, a good question to start
with, if anyone is interested, is what could the sinking of the lost
continent, Atlantis, represent? Hopefully, we will keep our interpretations
to ourselves, as it is appropriatel that each person interpret allegory at
his own level, when and if he is ready. If we interpret it for another, we
rob that human being of his opportunity for a time appropriate discovery
that is in tune with his own development, (also, the interpretation we give
may be off the mark and to interpret for another perpetrates authority). If
Madame Blavatsky was exposed to Tibetan teaching, she experienced much of
this teaching in the form of allegorical material which was presented as
literal and taken literally, but only by those who were unable to
understand. It is likely that she learned this method of presentation from
Tibetan teaching and/or other teaching which was also presented in this
form.

Wry: Might this then might be an example of a truth which is ultimate:
Everything is always changing?

beyond.

Wry: Such teaching is traditionally coded for many reasons. If anyone is
interested what some of these reasons are, I will try to write a message
about this sometime. Wry
