Dear Frank:
Your post herebelow does not somehow make sense to me.
"Theosophist is who theosophy does." H P B wrote this in one of her
"replies":
As far as I have read Theosophical literature, I must say: She did
not say that one had to belong to any Society (exoteric or esoteric).
Nor did she lay down any rules that I know of regarding "trained
chelas of the Masters of Compassion" This is the first time I have
heard such a definition. The claim is a large one. who can prove it?
Is it necessary to prove it ?
As I see it: That is all external stuff, and labeling, I believe. As
far as I can see, No one is able to define another's "position." It
seems to me, that is private, and if anything, no true chela has
anything to say about it, or about himself, or his "position."
If you have a reference to this written by her, please share it?
What causes you to characterize the so-called "U L T position ?" Who
has ever defined it ?
No one is able to present such a "position," as we are all
"associates," and have no officers or leaders or spokesmen. If any
one (such as I am doing) writes anything -- they do it on their own
responsibility. They advance principles to be impersonally considered
for their universal and continuous value.
The "Declaration" is the sole document that unites all associates and
students, in fact, ANY ONE who cares to come, and, who use U L T
facilities to study and inquire into Theosophy. Those facilities are
focused on the ORIGINAL TEACHINGS OF THEOSOPHY, and not an any
interpretations thereof. -- Those facilities, are free and open to
all. No questions are ever asked of any one. The greatest Sage as
also the most ignorant visitor, receives equal treatment and respect.
The sole objective is to keep Theosophy alive by enquiring rigorously
in to all its tenets and principles. If it is truly ancient and the
result of the continuous studies for millennia (and / or aeons) of
the Lodge of the Mahatmas and Adepts, then it can withstand any
probes. In fact it welcomes them.
But it does not "organize" anyone, as all are free to come and go, to
participate or not
Do you have any fault to find with the "Declaration of U L T ?"
------------------------
U L T -- DECLARATION:
The policy of this Lodge is independent devotion to the cause of
Theosophy, without professing attachment to any Theosophical
organization.
It is loyal to the great Founders of the Theosophical Movement, but
does not concern itself with dissensions or differences of individual
opinion.
The work it has on hand and the end it keeps in view are too absorbing
and too lofty to leave it the time or inclination to take part in side
issues.
That work and that end is the dissemination of the Fundamental
Principles of the philosophy of Theosophy, and the exemplification in
practice of those principles, through a truer realization of the
SELF; a profounder conviction of Universal Brotherhood.
It holds that the unassailable basis for union among Theosophists,
wherever and however situated, is similarity of aim, purpose and
teaching," and therefore has neither Constitution, By-Laws nor
Officers, the sole bond between its Associates being that basis. And
it aims to disseminate this idea among Theosophists in the furtherance
of Unity.
It regards as Theosophists all who are engaged in the true service of
Humanity, without distinction of race, creed, sex, condition or
organization, and;
It welcomes to its association all those who are in accord with its
declared purposes and who desire to fit themselves, by study and
otherwise, to be the better able to help and teach others.
"The true Theosophist belongs to no cult or sect, yet
belongs to each and all."
=====================================
Form to be signed by those who desire to become associates
of U L T:
Being in sympathy with the Purposes of this Lodge, as set
forth in its "Declaration," I hereby record my desire to be
enrolled as an Associate; it being understood that such
association calls for no obligation on my part, other than
that which I, myself, determine.

Do let me know,
Best wishes,
Dal

In other words: The ULT'ers or unbrotherly, because they don't want
have to
do anything with the trained chelas of the Masters of Compassion, at
least
in their role as occult successors of the O.H. from 1875-91. This ULT
behavior seems to be unjust, unfair and unbrotherly against HPB, too.

PS: I've lost my emails of the last four weeks. If someone is waiting
for an
