There's no such thing as an "esoteric meaning" of the English words
"illusion" and "delusion." Everything that is written down publicly is
exoteric -- such as their dictionary definitions.
As "esoteric" means, "Intended for or understood by only a particular group"
(ref: an esoteric cult) and "Not publicly disclosed; confidential" -- the
esoteric meaning of "illusion" or "delusion" with respect to Theosophy or
Buddhism, are the meanings these teachings infer for the equivalent word
"Maya."
