That is the only thing about Theosophy that I found downright 
offensive. Here we have a bunch of faggies preaching relentlessly 
that everyone should be "celibate" (meaning no heterosexual contact_ 
while they are off doin God knows what and then justifying that with 
their "occult" stuff or their "clairvoyance" or whatever. I have the 
same problem with the RC church. Here again we have a bunch of 
faggies telling us men and women should avoid each other while all 
sorts of stuff is going on behind those stained glass windows and in 
this case the con is about "divine revelation."

I think he would be shocked people found out, that's all.

I used a similar concept to justify opting for the contemplative 
life, which is not hedonistic.
