Dear Swami BHAKTI ANANDA GOSWAMI

Yes, I agree that there are connotations in the Secret Doctrine that can be
interpreted as racist and reflect the common ideas of racial differences in
the 19th Century. But what has that got to do with the Seven Rounds and
Seven Root Race concept? (It's unfortunate that the word "Race" had to be
used in this context.) But, as far as convinced theosophists are concerned,
such as those advanced student/teachers on this forum, this seven times seven
progressive system of planetary and human evolution is entirely consistent
with the involutional and evolutionary processes of Cosmogenesis and
Anthropogenesis as written in the Book of Dzyan (from the Book of the Golden
Precepts of the Kiu-ti), which, properly understood and intuitively grasped,
is the only way the universe, the planetary system, and the human kingdom, as
well as the other three kingdoms of nature, could have come into existence
and evolved to the states they are in now. Racial discrimination between
those of different skin color or other physical characteristics, culture,
country of origin, etc., have nothing to do with this theory, but is a
problem solely of man's own selfishness, greeds, and other ethnic and
cultural sensibilities.

This genetic process doesn't have a gap or loose end in it, starting from the
zero-point singularity of the absolute primal beginning, and sliding down the
slope of involution and climbing up the ladder of evolution. To deny it
would reach down to the core of the theosophical teachings and negate the
entire scientifically logical structure upon which it stands.

Since all true theosophists cannot be racists in the contemporary sense of the
term, what good does it do for you or Brian to try to change our minds about
the truths of theosophy, and hammer us with the most transparent propaganda
in a futile attempt to falsify theosophy and denigrate HPB?

You will never with your weak faith based theologies, that have no real
scientifically consistent basis of Cosmogenesis or Anthropogenesis, break
through this barrier between us -- due to our contradictory ideas and thought
processes... And, especially, with your and Brian/Bridgitte's use of
consistently faulty reasoned propaganda techniques.

I, for one, have no argument with your belief in a personal God, if such
belief will lead to the same goals of universal brotherhood and peace on
Earth, that is the aim of theosophy. But, that doesn't mean that we have to
believe in or worship such a personal God -- who can give us nothing that we
don't already have. However, that doesn't prevent any theosophist from
believing in a universal and impersonal consciousness or Higher Self, of
which their individual higher egos, their "I am I," or self consciousness, is
an integral ray -- that they can call "God" or any other name they choose.
In that sense, we are our own creators, and owe our allegiance to no thing or
person other than our own Higher Self... Which, in its moral and ethical
basis, our conscience, is equivalent to Krishna's or God's consciousness...
And, is Impersonal, since it cannot belong to, and can have no interest in
any particular individual human being or separate personality... Except,
through those great teachers on this mundane plane of existence, from Krishna
to Jesus to HPB, and even yourself, who chose that role for themselves -- to
help and teach those of 'like" mind.

The only way you could "erase racism" from those that misinterpret and misuse
the teachings of HPB for that purpose, then, would be to burn all her (and
her disciples') books, and kill all the theosophical student/teachers who
promulgate their teachings. I don't think you would be willing to go to that
extreme. But, even if you did, that would change or erase nothing. And,
talking to convinced theosophists (who base their carefully considered
philosophical and religious understanding, rather than on blind faith, on
logically and scientifically consistent fundamental principles which you
cannot refute) about changing their teachings -- will also get you nowhere,
and waste your energy (which might be better spent on teaching your disciples
to be tolerant and understanding of other peoples thoughts and ideas about
how, and on what basis, they approach God consciousness or Self realization).

With respect to your honorable Self,
