Dear Friend:
All human beings go to the same "School." Our Earth. Many
reincarnations bring us to many circumstances of living and
each has a lesson.
The theosophical view is that every human being is a
SPIRITUAL SOUL in the process of changing himself by
self-effort (will) into a DIVINE MAN.
The process is long and we are all on the same pilgrimage.
We are as brothers and sisters in various bodies, by the
INNER SELF is always one with PARABRAHMAM.
Discernment is spoken of by Sri Krishna in the BHAGAVAD GITA
is the action of BUDDHI (wisdom) working with and assisting
the embodied MANAS in its daily work. It speaks of virtues
and distinguishes them from the vices and selfishness of
mankind's desire (KAMA ) nature. So "The fight is in the
mind, always."
If you wish help from Theosophy then study the KEY TO
THEOSOPHY (HPB) and the OCEAN OF THEOSOPHY (Judge) and make
daily use of the VOICE OF THE SILENCE (H P B) as an
inspiration and an encouragement to a better a more focused
spiritual life in every day and every way.
Do ask questions as other who like you share in this
pilgrimage, may be able to point to some answers.
The literature of Theosophy is of course available through
http://www.blavatsky.net as needed and as selected by you.
Everyone applies to the degree that they understand.
Understandings are many. The judgment is always interior to
each individual and no one can judge another's struggles and
efforts.
If one takes the SPIRITUAL SELF -- the HIGHER SELF ATMAN as
one's mentor then indeed if persisted in they will succeed.
Study the lives of the great ancient Hindu saints and
devotees and see what they experienced and determine for
yourself what qualities and virtues they exemplified in
their lives. Can you / we do the same ?
Best wishes,
Dallas

Subject: [] Hello
My search for those with discernment has lead me here. To
date HPB
has the most useful knowledge pressed down, shaken together,
and over-
flowing.
I guess I am curious as to whether the people here can apply
it or
just quote it.
