Could a reference be given to this statement ? Where found

When the Monad is extended, the Dyad is generated.
(A sentence found in Chaldean writings having to do with
"in the Beginning")

The Monad is at the apex of the triangle of manifestation S
D I 614 It starts with ATMA the UNIVERSAL SPIRIT. In
differentiation (i.e.: when evolution starts) the material
base of MAHA - BUDDHI (or, primordial ROOT SUBSTANCE) and
MAHAT ( or Universal MIND ) are needed to form the base of
the triangle.

Thus from ZERO (0) one passes out of the ABSOLUTENESS into
manifestation, to the ONE (1), but the ONE immediately
splits into TWO (the manifested Monad or ATMA-BUDDHI). It
is thus. the un-dying, ever-existent pilgrim -- and with
MANAS (Mind) -- which links Buddhi to Atma by consciousness
and its intelligence, a TRIAD is formed. This TRIAD
(Atma-Buddhi-Manas) is, with the ONE SOURCE, the sum total,
the Sacred FOUR or the "Square." This is the mystery of
squaring the circle.

Symbolically every illumined Mind re-ascends to the pinnacle
of consciousness from which it first emanated. It brings
with it the experience of its pilgrimage through the
universe in all its enormous variety. This Intelligence is
what is named in an individual the "Adept," the
"Illuminated," "the Mahatma difficult to find," and finally
the "Buddha," and, the "Dhyan Chohan." Budhi plus
Self-consciousness corresponds to "Christos" (s d ii
231fn). The Dhyan Chohans (Men of mind complete -- endow
man with self-consciousness (analogetic to the activation of
the mind principle in little children through the company of
adults and parents) S D II 45, 233fn, 246, 253 fn, 274, 513
S D I 457).

In symbology ( see S D I pp. 4 to 6, for example, and S D
I 320-325) will be found the key to the metaphysics and the
history of our development cosmically, for our earth, and of
mankind, as the human free mind develops its innate powers
through experience. All correspond.

Hence, our existence on earth is compared to a day in
School. Reincarnation is the return of the same Ego again
and again in its attempt to complete the universal
curriculum, the outline of which will always be found
interior to himself, impacted in the spiritual aspect of his
own Monadic ROOT. (ATMA-BUDDHI-MANAS).

MAHA-BUDDHI is also called MAHA-MAYA, (the great illusion
because it is one step down from the ever-indescribable and
incognizable REALITY -- the ABSOLUTE). Maha-Buddhi is also
the accumulated WISDOM of experience -- often this is said
to be recorded in the imperishable AKASA -- (the 7th highest
aspect of the "astral light). Maha-Buddhi is also referred
to as primordial Root Substance, or the highest aspect of
"matter." Mulaprakriti (mula= root, prakriti =
substance/matter).

MAHAT is the universal Mind. (S D II 58-9, 81, S D I
75) It is anthropomorphized as Maha-Vishnu -- the
preservative aspect of the DEITY. Awakened, it is
self-consciousness ( S D I 51, 192-3; S D II 79-81,
3, ) It is not the "unconscious." It is also named
AHANKARA (or "I-ness"). When manifesting through the
embodied mind it can become "selfishness, egoism ( S D II
639fn, ) It gives a purpose for human evolution S D I
175, S D II 45, 654,

All atoms are potentially self-conscious (S D I 106-7, II
640, 654, )

These references if considered begin to sketch the universal
prevalence of a system that is represented mathematically by
the development of Pythagoras triangle of numbers. 1 to 10.
