Living in India as I have for many years, there is no particular emphasis of syllables. If anything the pronunciation is flat -- uniform -- KARMA is k a r m a . And s on. Dear Dallas, Appreciating the fact that there are variants in the delivery of a word it is nevertheless beneficial to have some form of starting point. You know in some dictionaries they have a word and then in brackets how to pronounce that word? So karma for instance would be (kar-ma) or (car-ma) rather than (ka-rma) etc. With your posts on theosophical teachings would it possible to include something such as this? - especially with those extremely long words. Thanks for your help. Regards, Mic __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo! Health - Feel better, live better http://health.yahoo.com Your use of Yahoo!
