I heartly argree with what Morten and mkr comment below.
Yes, the early theosophists were not politically correct at their times.
When HPB noticed that a supernational organization was in attempt to destroy
the nationality of India she went there and founded a national movement to
counteract these attacks.
When she noticed that these black forces were in attempt to take over London
she moved there and established her headquarters there to counteract these
attacks, although the dark powers banned her magazine Lucifer from all shops
on which they had a monopoly.
When Katherine Tingley notived that these evil forces were in attempt to
take over USA and counteract the policy of Washington and Lincoln she
supported the national movement of Edward Bellamy which was also supported
by HPB as can be seen from her comment in her "Key".
But in the last consequence KT seems to have been not overall success as the
"invisible government" (US Pres. Th. Roosevelt) over the Warburgs and
Rotschilds was able in 1913 to take complete control over the US.
But I think it was not a personal failure for KT, the reason why she has had
not the success which would have been necessary to ban the evil forces was
the bad condition of the Theos. Movement and there vorious counterforces
from within who fightet against her policy, although she was elected by
5,000 delegates present at convention who represented the theosophists the
world over.
In his 1912 election campaign Theodore Roosevelt said (in my humble
retransl.): "Behind the visible goverment there is sitting a invisible
government on her throne, which is not responsible to the citizens and
recognizes no responsibility. It is the task of the the statesman to destroy
this invisible government, this godless alliance between corrupt business
and corrupt politics."
I think was Roosevelt said is the same as HPB said in her "Key", but today
we see that this corrupt policy is not limited to the USA alone, it has
spread around the world after several plots succeeded and today we have next
to no free nation anymore. Nearly all nations are ritual slaughtered by the
background illuminati.
MKR, you are right. Theosophists and the TS's should stand up and speak out
loud. But until today I have heard nothing, either from Pasadena, Adyar or
ULT. I think they are either infiltrated by the background powers or they
have decided to go the Prateyka way and are satisfied with themselves that
have the truth and nothing as the truth and the rest of the world my go now
into ARMAGEDDON. In either way the official policy of all 3 so-called
"theosophical" organizations is not the way of HPB.

Right question.
In the early days, theosophists took active interest on various issues
relating to the welfare of the oppressed people and espoused causes which
were not politically correct at that time. But things changed.
May be it is time for theosophists to stand up and do what they can to
alleviate those suffering masses.
This can be done concurrent with other studies and discussions and
spiritual practices.
