Has anyone seen Charlie Chaplin's post-war Movie " Monsieur Verdeaux"? A
satire on the bogus values of the so called civilized world. Towards the
end of the movie, Chaplin, the villain is to be convicted to be executed by
Guillotine (the episode was set up in France). The Judges ask the defendant
if he has anything to say. Chaplin launches a speech in which he says if
you as an individual kill a couple of people, you are a murderer. When you
have an organization and kill a lot of people, you become an hero and
killing is justified. A parody on the WWII and the commonly accepted
worldly morality.
