What makes you think that there is a relationship between the amount
spent on education and the level of education that children get? And
what does the federal government have to do with education, anyway? I
see nothiing in the Constitution about it, which means that education is
a matter for the states and individuals, not the federal government.
However, if the educational establishment had to make do with less,
perhaps they would cut back on the tremendous amount of money that never
gets to the actual education of the children.
