I do believe that Pluto is still classified as Planetary body as having a
wholly independent orbit it cannot be defined as a satellite in captured
orbit around any other planet. Planets are: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars,
Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune,
and Pluto, 9 in all. Pluto's orbit crosses inside the orbital sine of Neptune
for a 22 year
period as it proceeds around the sun. Some have postulated yet another
undiscovered
Planet based on orbital idiosyncrasies found in the orbits of the outer
planets of our systems. Zacharia Sitchin has Authored a series of works on
the existence of a 10th
Planet.
