RE: Theos-World powerful ideas and the language we use to communicate them

Dear Steve:

>From my experience the explosion represented by "cursing" is
quite wasteful and produces nothing. So why should any
"theosophist" indulge in the useless ?

Precisely who is cursed? And why? Are we not rally "coursing"
our own foolishness and lack of foresight? Are we rash, or
foolhardy as to invoke Karma to act on us as a result of venting
annoyance or anger ?

I can't "see it" --

I know that H P B is accused of "coursing" and carrying on in an
apparent "fit of anger."

I recall an anecdote: H P B was annoyed at someone in her London
staff, for some foolishness done: and she "cursed" him out
roundly. He noticed that the cup of tea she was holding in her
hand at that time, did not tremble or shake.

None of us are H P Bs yet.

Best wishes,

Dallas

Are you saying there is no Theosophical discussion
that could not benefit from a little cursing?
